Beaver Scouts is the second section of the Scouts movement in the UK, and is open to children aged 6 to 8 years old. The program is designed to be a fun and engaging introduction to scouting, and offers children the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, and explore the world around them. Beaver Scouts in the UK are organised into small groups called “Colonies,” which are led by adult volunteers known as “Leaders.” Through regular meetings and special events, Beaver Scouts in the UK learn about teamwork, respect for others, and environmental responsibility, while also having lots of fun along the way.
